It’s not very often that I wash dishes by hand, because if I can throw it in the dishwasher and push a button, that’s what I’m totally going to do! However, for blogging sakes, I saved a nice sink full of dishes so I could give this jug of Radiance Dishwashing Liquid a spin!
While this isn’t the most bubbly soap I’ve ever scrubbed dishes with, it did bubble up quite a bit and definitely held its’ own. Sometimes with bargain brands, you need to use half a bottle of soap to get your dishes clean. This was not the case with Radiance. All my dishes washed and rinsed nicely. The Sangria scent is fresh and fruity (also available in Rosemary, Lemongrass, and Pomegranate), and it didn’t dry out my hands.
Reeva Dishwashing Liquid is available every day at ALDI, but this Radiance (and the summer scents!) is an ALDI Find and will only be around for a limited time. $1.89 will get you a 24 oz bottle.
If you are washing a serious amount of dishes by hand, you may want to go with a more bubbly, concentrated soap. If you are like me, and let the dishwasher handle it most of the time, and only wash your delicates/large items by hands, this is a great, economical option!
The ALDI Nerd Grade: B
- A = Excellent! I LOVE this product!
- B = Good! I really like this!
- C = This is just okay. I just kind of like this.
- D = Not Great. I’ll keep it, but probably won’t buy another.
- F = BUMMER! I’ll probably return this to the store.
What’s your take on dish soap from ALDI? Yay or nay?
